Stephane is coming to New York for the last week of November, and will be
doing four gigs
with DOC SCANLON’S PAN-ATLANTIC SWINGSTERS
Percussionist Stéphane Séva of the Paris Washboard, a popular band on their European home turf, will make a solo visit to the U.S. in November. Séva will perform in the Bickford Jazz Festival on Tuesday, Nov. 30, with a band built around him for this special occasion. The New York Washboard will have its inaugural concert that Tuesday.
New York Washboard duplicates the instrumentation of its French counterpart. At the Bickford, Dan Levinson will play clarinet; Matt Musselman will play slide trombone; Gordon Webster plays the big Kawai grand piano.
